Whew! What a week. Well two since my last update. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Work in Progress News ~ This past week I’ve been work­ing on Retreat. Going back through that book to kill the ellipses and tweak it for repub­lish­ing. This book is the one that I always for­get that I wrote. Poor lit­tle Retreat. It will be repub­lished at a new low price on Octo­ber 1.
New Release News ~ I guest blogged a few places this past week. I went to Travis Erwin’s place and inter­viewed Ryann, then shared my Pre­View Playlist over on James Stafford’s Why It Mat­ters blog. I also got a great review for Pre­View. Accord­ing to Romance Books Forum, Pre­view is “an amaz­ing, hot, excit­ing, roman­tic ten­sion filled, book with just enough con­flict, mys­tery, and sus­pense to keep me enthralled”. So thanks RBF!

Indus­try News ~ There’s a new rumor that Ama­zon is talk­ing with book pub­lish­ers about launch­ing a sub­scrip­tion ser­vice for dig­i­tal books, in which cus­tomers would pay an annu­al fee to access a library of con­tent. (Think Net­flix or Rhap­sody for ebooks) Not sure how that will work itself out. Espe­cial­ly with the NY6 atti­tudes about new and unusu­al things. I’ll keep my eyes open for more news though, I think it would be awesome.
Real Life News ~ Took a mini vaca­tion last week, and drove across the state to get to Yel­low­stone Nation­al Park and Grand Teton Nation­al Park. If you’ve nev­er been, you real­ly do need to make the trip. Judg­ing by the license plates, we were the only vehi­cle from Wyoming in the 100 mile radius. I heard a whole lot of Euro­pean accents and bus­loads of Japan­ese tourists.  I took the pic­ture above on our way home. I loved those mountains…
