I&nbsp;know I&nbsp;swore I&nbsp;would\u00adn\u2019t go to <span class=\"caps\">RT<\/span>, but then a&nbsp;few things fell into place like first find\u00ading out that <span class=\"caps\">SANDRA<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">BROWN<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">WILL<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">BE<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">THERE<\/span>!!!! then very cheap air\u00adline tick\u00adets, and final\u00adly three very nice peo\u00adple who are will\u00ading to put up with my snor\u00ading for a&nbsp;cou\u00adple nights. So yeah, Dal\u00adlas <span class=\"caps\">TX<\/span> is about to get a&nbsp;whole lot of Alan\u00adna. And prob\u00ada\u00adbly some Olivia as&nbsp;well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Work in Progress News ~&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong>I&nbsp;start\u00aded a&nbsp;new work in progress. <em>sigh<\/em>&nbsp;I\u2019ve got so many wips in the fire it\u2019s ridicu\u00adlous! One of these days I\u2019ll even fin\u00adish one of&nbsp;them!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong> Favorite Song of the Week ~&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span>I&nbsp;was once a&nbsp;very big fan of Bare\u00adnaked Ladies. It was very sad when one of the found\u00ading mem\u00adbers left the group, and their sound changed. I&nbsp;absolute\u00adly adored the build\u00ading, halt\u00ading rela\u00adtion\u00adship between Kara and Derek. And I&nbsp;think the author hit the mark (at least with me) because I&nbsp;fell com\u00adplete\u00adly in love with Derek. He\u2019s the quin\u00adtes\u00adsen\u00adtial hero. And the way he wove his patient and lov\u00ading way around the anal-reten\u00adtive Kara was beau\u00adti\u00adful to watch. Seri\u00adous\u00adly, this was one of the best books I\u2019ve read in a&nbsp;very long time. Nice job, Alan\u00adna Coca. So I\u2019m bring\u00ading the book by her pen name that I&nbsp;read when I&nbsp;was 12, that start\u00aded my love for romance. This is the cov\u00ader, too. It\u2019s a&nbsp;great west\u00adern set in the ear\u00adly 20th cen\u00adtu\u00adry with some sus\u00adpense ele\u00adments. <em>sigh<\/em> I&nbsp;love this book so much. So I&nbsp;reread it, for about the 97th time. It comes out in dig\u00adi\u00adtal in Decem\u00adber. Noth\u00ading\u2019s with&nbsp;me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>Yeah, so that\u2019s the prob\u00adlem. You\u2019re act\u00ading like you did after Bud\u00addy got run over in sev\u00adenth&nbsp;grade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Krista was ten months younger than Kara, and their birth\u00addays fell so that they were actu\u00adal\u00adly enrolled in the same grade at school. They had been insep\u00ada\u00adra\u00adble since they could both walk. They rarely fought while grow\u00ading up, and with hav\u00ading polar oppo\u00adsite col\u00ador\u00ading and per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adties, they were often con\u00adfused for best friends rather than sis\u00adters, which was just fine with&nbsp;them.<\/p>\n<p>Now, star\u00ading into her Irish twin\u2019s face, Kara could\u00adn\u2019t help but unload. \u201cIt\u2019s the guy. The donor I&nbsp;found last&nbsp;month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>The guy you stalked? Not pan\u00adning out? Did he fail the phys\u00adi\u00adcal?\u201d Kris cov\u00adered her sis\u00adter\u2019s hand on the&nbsp;table.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>No, phys\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly he was fine. Per\u00adfect even.\u201d <em>Too per\u00adfect.<\/em> \u201cBut he want\u00aded to change some of the con\u00addi\u00adtions of the contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>Like what?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kara looked around the crowd\u00aded eat\u00ading area where they sat sur\u00adround\u00aded by parked strollers and exhaust\u00aded shop\u00adpers. No one who was close enough to hear was lis\u00adten\u00ading; they were par\u00adents busy calm\u00ading down their chil\u00addren or teens flirt\u00ading with passersby.<\/p>\n<p>Kara was glad that Kris had brought this up. She had been hop\u00ading to get all of this off of her chest for the last week. Well, ten days real\u00adly, but she\u2019d tried to come to terms with it before invit\u00ading help. She shoved her cup of noo\u00addles away, and gave her sis\u00adter a&nbsp;sad smile.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>He\u2026uh\u2026wanted to bypass the clinic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kris wrin\u00adkled her brow in con\u00adfu\u00adsion, and Kara raised her eye\u00adbrow in a&nbsp;telling gesture.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>Oh! Oh God! You mean he want\u00aded&nbsp;to\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>Yes. Some\u00adthing I&nbsp;was\u00adn\u2019t pre\u00adpared for, to say the least,\u201d Kara grumbled.<\/p>\n<p>Kris\u2019s lips twitched.
