This week I&nbsp;tried start\u00ading out at a&nbsp;dif\u00adfer\u00adent spot and remov\u00ading one of the plot threads that I&nbsp;think was unnec\u00ades\u00adsary. I\u2019m not sure why this book is giv\u00ading me such a&nbsp;hard time. Don\u2019t you want to get writ\u00adten, Dean!? Ugh. But progress this week, so that\u2019s good. Every once in a&nbsp;while she could detect a&nbsp;slight accent, usu\u00adal\u00adly when he spoke words of Span\u00adish ori\u00adgin. He laughed at some\u00adthing his old col\u00adlege bud\u00addy said, and in a&nbsp;seem\u00ading\u00adly unre\u00adlat\u00aded ges\u00adture, he kissed the top of Kara\u2019s head.
