That\u2019s when I&nbsp;real\u00adized I&nbsp;nev\u00ader men\u00adtioned my hero\u00adine\u2019s hair or eye col\u00ador. I&nbsp;just left it up to Samhain\u2019s cov\u00ader artist. So then I&nbsp;\u00c2&nbsp;re-read one of San\u00addra Brown\u2019s genre romances that she wrote back in prob\u00ada\u00adbly the ear\u00adly 1990s, not yet avail\u00adable in dig\u00adi\u00adtal: \u201cShe was ter\u00adri\u00adfy\u00ading\u00adly alone on a&nbsp;Texas high\u00adway about to deliv\u00ader her first child when a&nbsp;rugged stranger in a&nbsp;pick\u00adup truck stopped to help her. Leigh Bran\u00adsom had lost her hus\u00adband eight months before when he was trag\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly killed on the job. This fate\u00adful meet\u00ading on a&nbsp;lone\u00adsome high\u00adway brought a&nbsp;hand\u00adsome, new man into her life\u2026yet he was a&nbsp;man with secrets and the pow\u00ader to break her heart again\u2026\u201d Just found all the old cov\u00aders, had to post the one with the orig\u00adi\u00adnal title. Awesome!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Today\u2019s Tear\u00adjerk\u00ader ~<\/strong><\/span> Okay, this sto\u00adry has been all over the inter\u00adnet this week, but in case you missed it, here\u2019s the gist:\u00c2&nbsp;A&nbsp;Hous\u00adton wait\u00ader, Michael Gar\u00adcia, is being cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded for stand\u00ading up for a&nbsp;lit\u00adtle boy with Down syn\u00addrome.
