Woah. September already. Can you believe it? Labor Day here in the states. I took this picture during this week’s camping trip. I had fun, but there’s a species of bird (or frog, I’m not exactly sure) that sounds just like a human whistling. That kept my dog alert all night long, which in turn kept me awake. \u00c2\u00a0Also, sleeping on the ground is best left to those under twenty.<\/p>\n

Favorite Song of the Week ~<\/span> <\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0I can’t get this out of my head. Though I’m on HIS side, I get a kick out of her frustrated grunt.

\nThis says US version. I wonder what the rest of the world gets!? I can’t find anything else.<\/p>\n

Work in Progress News ~<\/strong> <\/span>Working away on Dean. I think I’ll get a lot more done starting next week when the kids go back to school. At least that’s the plan.<\/p>\n

\"\" Industry News ~<\/strong><\/span> Several articles popped up this week regarding authors buying reviews. A certain author (the first self published author to sell a million Kindle books) admits to shelling out several thousand dollars for positive reviews. Not only do I find the practice immoral and deceitful, I also don’t have that kind of money. So you can rest assured that all reviews on my books are legit. In other news, just when you thought you had the latest and greatest in ereaders, this gets leaked: Kindle Paperwhite<\/a>, (or something) a Kindle with backlight! Looks pretty darn cool.<\/p>\n

Search Term of the week aka How People Found My Websites ~<\/strong><\/span> I have two interesting terms this week. “kz sxsy tender” and “hairy brynn”. I love you, Internet!<\/p>\n

What I’m reading ~<\/span><\/strong> I love everything that Vivien Dean<\/a> writes, so when I saw one I hadn’t read popped up, I grabbed it and devoured it in one night. Price of a Tattooed Soul<\/a> \u00c2\u00a0is a time travel story, so it has the best of contemporary and historical, with a great plot and great cover (sorry, wordpress freaked on me, I can’t seem to post it, but click on over to see.)<\/p>\n
