Well, here we are again. Anoth\u00ader week flew right by. I\u2019d like to say I was so busy writ\u00ading, but um\u2026I keep get\u00adting dis\u00adtract\u00aded. I love sum\u00admer, but I can\u2019t wait until the kids are back in school! The sweet dog in the pic\u00adture here is Patrick<\/a>. He was res\u00adcued from the jaws of death at the hands of an abuser on St. Patrick\u2019s Day. I just love the look on his face here. We could learn a lot from this guy.<\/p>\n

Works In Progress News ~<\/span> Still work\u00ading on Olivia\u2019s m\/m WiP. I real\u00adly want\u00aded to get it to 20K<\/span> before my tweet count hit 20k. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly, that didn\u2019t hap\u00adpen. It\u2019s just over 18K<\/span> right now, and the first steamy scene is behind me. My tweet stream is mov\u00ading right along as well, thank you very much.<\/p>\n

Indus\u00adtry News ~<\/span> A British \u201cjour\u00adnal\u00adist\u201d wrote an arti\u00adcle last week detail\u00ading why (in her opin\u00adion) romance nov\u00adels are bad for women and rela\u00adtion\u00adships. There are a lot of dis\u00adagree\u00adable points in her arti\u00adcle, such as only eleven-some per\u00adcent of books men\u00adtion con\u00addom use (uh\u2026what?!) but the biggest prob\u00adlem I have is that she seems to think that women can\u2019t dis\u00adtin\u00adguish between fic\u00adtion and real\u00adi\u00adty. Which is insult\u00ading. Fur\u00adther Reading<\/a><\/p>\n

I\u2019ll try to take pic\u00adtures. There\u2019s a car\u00adni\u00adval in town, and I\u2019m pret\u00adty damn proud of the fact that my youngest doesn\u2019t know about it.
