I can\u2019t work when it\u2019s too qui\u00adet. I think that comes from my 18 years in big-box retail. I need cry\u00ading babies, ring\u00ading tele\u00adphones, walls full of TVs, and over\u00adhead speak\u00aders in order to get any\u00adthing done. Since I don\u2019t have that in front of my lap\u00adtop, (and real\u00adly, I must be thank\u00adful) I lis\u00adten to a lot of music.<\/p>\n
When I wrote Wyoming Solace I lis\u00adtened to a lot of \u201990s coun\u00adtry. Garth Brooks, Clint Black and even Alaba\u00adma. I don\u2019t know if the book took me to that place, or if the music took me there to write the book. shrug<\/em><\/p>\n Writ\u00ading Pre\u00adja Vu, I lis\u00adtened to a lot of HipHop. Flo-Rida, Tim\u00adba\u00adland, Justin Tim\u00adber\u00adlake, Black Eyed Peas, etc.<\/p>\n Recent\u00adly I\u2019ve been putting my entire col\u00adlec\u00adtion of tunes on \u201cshuf\u00adfle\u201d and I get a sur\u00adprise every 4 min\u00adutes. \ud83d\ude42 I get Kei\u00adth Urban fol\u00adlowed by Josh Groban, Eminem after that, then Pink Floyd to round out my all-encom\u00adpass\u00ading musi\u00adcal tastes. Got\u00adta love Rhap\u00adsody and\/or iTunes!<\/p>\n It\u2019s not cry\u00ading babies or pis\u00adsy pro\u00adduce pur\u00adchasers, but it\u2019s a living!<\/p>\n\n
