The last day of 2011? \u00c2&nbsp;It has been a&nbsp;good year to me. I\u2019ve got three releas\u00ades lined up for 2012, and plen\u00adty of wips to keep me&nbsp;busy.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Favorite Song of the Week ~<\/span> One Day, by Matisyahu, fea\u00adtur\u00ading Akon. This song was played at the\u00c2&nbsp;2010 Van\u00adcou\u00adver Win\u00adter Olympics:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/h55P7F8rW8A?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Work in Progress News ~<\/span>\u00c2&nbsp;I&nbsp;came up with a&nbsp;bril\u00adliant plot idea. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adnate\u00adly I&nbsp;can\u2019t start writ\u00ading it until I&nbsp;fin\u00adish <strong>Wyoming Solace<\/strong>. I\u2019ve real\u00adly slacked over the hol\u00adi\u00addays, and since the kids are out of school and it <em>is<\/em> a&nbsp;hol\u00adi\u00adday, I\u2019ve ratio\u00adnal\u00adized my lazi\u00adness. I\u2019m now about <sup class=\"numerator\">3<\/sup>\u2044<sub class=\"denominator\">4<\/sub> done with it though, and I&nbsp;hope to fin\u00adish by next Sat\u00adur\u00adday\u2019s sta\u00adtus. Next on the list, a&nbsp;free read com\u00adple\u00adment\u00ading <strong>Retreat<\/strong>. It will act as a&nbsp;pre\u00adquel, maybe <span class=\"caps\">10K<\/span> or so, noth\u00ading big, but just a&nbsp;lit\u00adtle taste of the&nbsp;book.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Indus\u00adtry News ~<\/span> Sor\u00adry. Again, I&nbsp;have no inter\u00adest\u00ading news. I\u2019m sure there\u2019s some out&nbsp;there\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Search Term of the week aka How Peo\u00adple Found My Web\u00adsites ~<\/span> 99% of the terms this week were pret\u00adty nor\u00admal. This one stuck out: \u201ci asked him to come on my face erot\u00adic blog\u201d. I&nbsp;refuse to even find out where that took them on Olivi\u00ada\u2019s site. Now that I\u2019ve post\u00aded that sen\u00adtence, I\u2019m prob\u00ada\u00adbly ask\u00ading for more of the&nbsp;same.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.allromanceebooks.com\/product-wanting-577314-145.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-4761\" src=\"http:\/\/alannacoca.com\/archive\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/577314.jpg\" alt width=\"140\" height=\"210\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #000080;\">What I\u2019m read\u00ading ~<\/span> Okay, so San\u00adta brought me a&nbsp;Kin\u00addle. In fact, before he wrapped it and put it under my tree, he got on my com\u00adput\u00ader and loaded my <span class=\"caps\">TBR<\/span> pile onto it. He\u2019s so thought\u00adful! So yeah, while I\u2019ve been slack\u00ading in the WiP area, I\u2019ve more than made up for it in the <span class=\"caps\">TBR<\/span> area. I&nbsp;read a&nbsp;few Christ\u00admas shorts, noth\u00ading that thrilled me too awful much. I&nbsp;think my favorite of the last two weeks was Want\u00adi\u00adng, by Piper Vaughn. This is a&nbsp;free\u00adbie over at All Romance Ebooks, but I\u2019d for\u00adgot\u00adten that when I&nbsp;start\u00aded read\u00ading it. It\u2019s very well writ\u00adten, and I&nbsp;enjoyed the premise. Kind of a&nbsp;May\/December best friend\u2019s lit\u00adtle broth\u00ader for\u00adbid\u00adden thing. Lots of lit\u00adtle con\u00adflicts, and sat\u00adis\u00adfy\u00ading emo\u00adtion\u00adal scenes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Hero Quote ~<\/span> From Cody, the hero in <strong>Wyoming Solace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>I won\u2019t hurt you, Elise.
