Work in Progress News ~<\/span><\/strong> This week I\u2019ve been going over my very first book, Wyoming Solace. I want to rework a few scenes before Lin\u00adda, my edi\u00adtor over at Samhain gets a hold of it. There\u2019s an entire plot thread I decid\u00aded to remove. It might short\u00aden the book some, but I think it will be a bet\u00adter sto\u00adry in the end. I\u2019m only about 1<\/sup>\u20443<\/sub> of the way through. I hope this does\u00adn\u2019t take me too long, because I\u2019ve got new sto\u00adries beg\u00adging to be written!<\/p>\n

Indus\u00adtry News ~<\/span><\/strong> One of the scari\u00adest things to pop up in a long time, SOPA<\/span>\u2014the Stop Online Pira\u00adcy Act\u2014an anti-infringe\u00adment bill that\u2019s work\u00ading it\u2019s way through the U.S. House, while its com\u00adpan\u00adion bill PIPA<\/span>\u2014Protect Intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adal Prop\u00ader\u00adty Act is in the hands of the Sen\u00adate. Oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion has gone viral, with over a mil\u00adlion emails hit\u00adting Con\u00adgress. SOPA<\/span> would give con\u00adtent own\u00aders the abil\u00adi\u00adty to shut down access to \u201crogue\u201d sites, force Web reg\u00adistries to block entire domains, and force banks and cred\u00adit card com\u00adpa\u00adnies to stop doing busi\u00adness with sites accused of sup\u00adport\u00ading or induc\u00ading infringe\u00adment, with just a court order. This would mean no more pic\u00adture shar\u00ading across the web, it could affect book excerpts on author sites\u2026it could get real\u00adly ugly. Even Wikipedia would be in dan\u00adger, and I don\u2019t know about you, but I LOVE<\/span> my Wiki.<\/p>\n

Search Term of the week aka How Peo\u00adple Found My Web\u00adsites ~<\/strong><\/span> I found it a lit\u00adtle inter\u00adest\u00ading that peo\u00adple found my site by search\u00ading for \u201csilky red ted\u00addy\u201d and anoth\u00ader group of folks found Olivia by Googling \u201cred satin back\u00adground\u201d. Coin\u00adci\u00addence? Yeah probably.<\/p>\n

<\/a>What I\u2019m read\u00ading ~<\/strong><\/span> I read two short books last week, one is Revealed by Lis\u00adsa Matthews. It\u2019s book three of a tril\u00ado\u00adgy, but I did\u00adn\u2019t real\u00adize that when I pur\u00adchased it. Luck\u00adi\u00adly the book stands on its own, I just missed a bunch of the sex\u00adu\u00adal ten\u00adsion and first meet\u00ading of these two. \u00c2 I might just go back <\/a>and read the oth\u00ader two now. And yes, one does wear a kilt. This is the halting\/awkward begin\u00adnings of a D\/s rela\u00adtion\u00adship between these two guys. I enjoyed read\u00ading their dis\u00adcom\u00adfort. I also read a quick\u00adie by Vivien Dean called Tis the Sea\u00adson. This one felt more like the begin\u00adning of a tril\u00ado\u00adgy, as it left me beg\u00adging for more. Two divorced dads meet after a school func\u00adtion for their kids. I real\u00adly liked these two char\u00adac\u00adters, and would love to read more about them \u2013hint hint, Vivien.<\/p>\n
