Just think, last week I was sit\u00adting on my porch in shorts. At least it wait\u00aded until Octo\u00adber this year, I real\u00adly should\u00adn\u2019t com\u00adplain, but I\u2019m going to any\u00adway. I\u2019m not leav\u00ading the house.<\/p>\n
Work in Progress News ~<\/span> Well, I fin\u00adished rework\u00ading my back\u00adlist, they\u2019re all back up<\/a> for Kin\u00addle, Nook, and com\u00ading soon to iTunes etc. While I wait for the first round of edits for Olivi\u00ada\u2019s Last Call<\/a>, I real\u00adized that I could actu\u00adal\u00adly write<\/em> some\u00adthing new. It took a few hours to get used to the idea, and after look\u00ading through all twelve of my works in progress, I start\u00aded pick\u00ading at one. The next day I decid\u00aded to take that orig\u00adi\u00adnal idea and tweak it a lit\u00adtle bit, so guess what I did? Yep. Start\u00aded num\u00adber 13. Well, more like 12.5, because I might be able to merge the orig\u00adi\u00adnal and this new one. We\u2019ll see. Such are the joys of pantsing.<\/p>\n Indus\u00adtry News ~<\/span> Auto\u00adg\u00adra\u00adphy<\/a> is out! Looks like a great app for authors to take their iPads to book sign\u00adings. This has been in devel\u00adop\u00adment since May, and it\u2019s final\u00adly avail\u00adable to the public.Kind of. So far it\u2019s just for the iPad, and it looks like you\u2019ll have to buy the book through the Auto\u00adg\u00adra\u00adphy store (which I\u2019m unable to find a link for) and there\u2019s no word on cost or avail\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty. Okay, let\u2019s call this a Pseu\u00addo-launch, and I\u2019ll be pseu\u00addo-excit\u00aded since I won\u2019t be able to use it quite yet, but let\u2019s hope there are some devel\u00adop\u00aders out there who want to share the love with the rest of us. I\u2019m all signed up for Author\u00adgraph<\/a>, and maybe I can fig\u00adure out a way to use my tablet and sty\u00adlus to sign a book\u2026hmm.\u2026<\/p>\n Real Life News ~<\/span> Well, the Yan\u00adkees did\u00adn\u2019t win the ALDS<\/span>, so you won\u2019t have to hear me go on about base\u00adball until next year. I did get a chance to read a cou\u00adple of great books this week. Inti\u00admate Whis\u00adpers<\/a> by Dee Car\u00adney just came out, and I real\u00adly liked it. I also have San\u00addra Brown\u2019s Lethal<\/a> on my desk taunt\u00ading me.
