\"\"Howdy! Busy week here, and it went quickly. I’m working hard on finishing another short story, and just when I get in the groove, I have to stop for “real life”. Darn it. I’ll be back on track Monday though, and maybe have another submission ready next week. Maybe. I missed last Sunday’s SSS post, since I had the blog tour, but I’ll pick up where I left off. Again, I’m stretching the six sentence thing, but some of these are just too short!<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re taking it pretty well,\u201d Susan observed. \u201cI\u2019d be a mess.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI hide it well. Or maybe I\u2019m still in shock.\u201d Brynn took a long drink of coffee. \u201cI\u2019ll probably lose it when I confront him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen are you going to do that?\u201d Susan shoved her empty plate to the edge of the table, and leaned toward Brynn. \u201cHave you figured out how you\u2019ll bring it up?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn an impulsive fit of rage this morning, I emailed him a copy of the conversations.\u201d Brynn let the evil wrap around her lips and tug them into a smile. \u201cSo he\u2019s not going to be surprised.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Susan laughed. \u201cThat was genius.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI thought so.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
