I\u2019m not com\u00adplain\u00ading, there\u2019s no white&nbsp;stuff.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Work in Progress News ~<\/span> Folks, I\u2019ve been on a&nbsp;roll! I\u2019m well over <span class=\"caps\">13K<\/span> in this book that I&nbsp;meant to be only <span class=\"caps\">15K<\/span> com\u00adplete. There\u2019s a \u201cdead zone\u201d between <span class=\"caps\">15K<\/span> and <span class=\"caps\">17K<\/span> as far as pub\u00adlish\u00aders go. Some don\u2019t even accept books in that range, so I\u2019ll have to tread light\u00adly here. I&nbsp;skipped one sex scene, and I\u2019m wrap\u00adping up the <span class=\"caps\">HEA<\/span> right now, so we\u2019ll see where it ends up. I\u2019d love to write \u201cthe end\u201d on this guy this week\u00adend, but I\u2019m sched\u00aduled \u00c2&nbsp;to work at the Evil Empire, so it might not hap\u00adpen. Soon, though!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Indus\u00adtry News ~<\/span> It looks like Japan\u2019s biggest inter\u00adnet retail\u00ader pur\u00adchased the \u00c2&nbsp;Kobo. \u00c2&nbsp;Since Rakuten already owns its own eread\u00ader, the Pana\u00adson\u00adic Raboo, this acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion should make Rakuten one of the biggest play\u00aders in the ebook indus\u00adtry. They\u2019re also open\u00ading up the Kobo to accept self-pub\u00adlish\u00aders like Ama\u00adzon\u2019s <span class=\"caps\">KDP<\/span> pro\u00adgram. \u00c2&nbsp;Great news!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Search Term of the week aka How Peo\u00adple Found My Web\u00adsites ~<\/span> Some\u00adone found Alan\u00adna\u2019s site by search\u00ading for \u201calan\u00adna kook\u00adblog\u201d. Should I&nbsp;be offend\u00aded? Some\u00adtimes that\u2019s just what I&nbsp;need to destress. It\u2019s like putting on my favorite fuzzy slip\u00adpers. Sweet Anger by San\u00addra Brown, orig\u00adi\u00adnal\u00adly pub\u00adlished in 1999 under one of her pen names. \u00c2&nbsp;This is just a&nbsp;clas\u00adsic romance. The hero falls for her first, and takes his time win\u00adning her <em>swoon<\/em>. The ten\u00adsion between these two is pal\u00adpa\u00adble. They real\u00adly are at odds most of the book. My first copy of the book had the cov\u00ader to the right. I\u2019d read it so much I&nbsp;had to tape the spine togeth\u00ader. Recent\u00adly on Twit\u00adter, I&nbsp;won (yes! Real\u00adly!) a&nbsp;new copy of Sweet Anger from San\u00addra, and I&nbsp;got her auto\u00adgraph! I\u2019m such a&nbsp;fangirl.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Hero Quote ~<\/span> From the WiP I\u2019m about to fin\u00adish. Still unti\u00adtled, labeled as&nbsp;Grant:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>Last chance. I\u2019m about to kiss you. This\u2019ll change everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Favorite Song of the Week ~<\/span> An oldie, but one that still touch\u00ades me.
