Off I go! Today I\u2019m dri\u00adving, and tomor\u00adrow morn\u00ading (waaay too ear\u00adly, and not by choice) I\u2019ll be hop\u00adping across the coun\u00adtry on my way to do some social\u00adiz\u00ading before the annu\u00adal Romance Times con\u00adven\u00adtion. This will be my first con\u00adfer\u00adence as an author, and I just hap\u00adpened to pick one of the doozies.<\/p>\n

Times like this I have to dig deep inside myself for the out\u00adgo\u00ading side of my per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty. Seri\u00adous\u00adly, I\u2019m a shy per\u00adson. I can see the eyes rolling, but any\u00adone close to me knows. I sit behind this lap\u00adtop screen and type away, and I\u2019m sheild\u00aded by the anonymi\u00adty of the inter\u00adnet and a pen name. The RT<\/span> Con\u00adven\u00adtion will not only crack the shell, it will like\u00adly break the whole thing, crum\u00adbling away and get\u00adting stomped on at the Fairy Ball. (Oh yes. An entire get-togeth\u00ader where every\u00adone is dressed as wood\u00adland crea\u00adtures, and me with\u00adout any wings.) It will be good for me though, and I plan on learn\u00ading a lot, and maybe sneak\u00ading a shot or two of whiskey to keep my inhi\u00adbi\u00adtions at bay.<\/p>\n

As far as writ\u00ading goes, I\u2019ve fin\u00adished Tes\u00adsa\u2019s Pride as Olivia Brynn, and I\u2019m in the mid\u00addle of a roman\u00adtic sus\u00adpense that has\u00adn\u2019t been titled yet\u2026I like to leave that for last. Once I\u2019m home from my trip, and things set\u00adtle down a bit, I\u2019ll be able to dig back into that one.<\/a><\/p>\n

I also took a lit\u00adtle break to redesign Olivi\u00ada\u2019s web\u00adsite<\/a>. Now that I know how to tweak things on there, I\u2019ll nev\u00ader have any free time! That\u2019s okay, it\u2019s fun. Besides all of that, I\u2019m edit\u00ading for one pub\u00adlish\u00ader, and proof read\u00ading and sales-admin\u00adis\u00adter-ing for anoth\u00ader, so although it might look like I\u2019m sit\u00adting in front of my com\u00adput\u00ader doing noth\u00ading, I real\u00adly am doing some\u00adthing! Sometimes.<\/p>\n

On a dif\u00adfer\u00adent note,\u00c2 did you see my ini\u00adtials on that air\u00adplane? I did\u00adn\u2019t even have to pho\u00adto\u00adshop them in there, it just came that way! Alright folks, on to the trip, got my ted\u00addy-bear packed, and I\u2019m hop\u00ading I don\u2019t get cho\u00adsen for the ran\u00addom body cav\u00adi\u00adty search at any of the six air\u00adport stops before I get home.<\/p>\n
