New Release News~<\/span> I got a great email from Cari\u00adna Press, the pub\u00adlish\u00ader for Alan\u00adna\u2019s book Pre\u00adView. Her roman\u00adtic sus\u00adpense comes out in about six weeks, and Cari\u00adna Press is already plan\u00adning some great pro\u00admo\u00adtions. It\u2019s going to be released dur\u00ading their Roman\u00adtic Sus\u00adpense Week. I\u2019m not going to divulge the pro\u00admo\u00adtion plans, but I\u2019m very excit\u00aded to be a part of them. More info as soon as plans are final\u00adized. If you like your love sto\u00adries with a lit\u00adtle bit of heart pound\u00ading excite\u00adment, then mark the first week of Sep\u00adtem\u00adber on your calendars.<\/p>\n Works In Progress News ~<\/span>Well, I passed 20K<\/span> on my m\/m nov\u00adel. Then two days ago I woke up with not only a plot, but the first para\u00adgraph and even the con\u00adflict for a short sto\u00adry, so I had to drop every\u00adthing to write it while it was still fresh in my mind. Now I used to do this often, but being scat\u00adter\u00adbrained is usu\u00adal\u00adly frowned upon, so I worked hard on focus\u00ading on one WiP at a time, and tried to fin\u00adish. The prob\u00adlem with that is when I get stalled, rather than work on some\u00adthing that\u2019s speak\u00ading to me, I just end up star\u00ading at the blank page. So call me a flighty pantser, but that\u2019s how I roll. So this new one will be about 12\u201315K<\/span>, a con\u00adtem\u00adpo\u00adrary m\/m friends-to-lovers theme, which I\u2019ve always want\u00aded to write. I\u2019m see\u00ading a lot of tweets from the pub\u00adlish\u00ading indus\u00adtry reach\u00ading out to the Bor\u00adders employ\u00adees with employ\u00adment oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties, which real\u00adly warms my heart. Com\u00adic Con was held in San Diego, and while I don\u2019t think my style would ben\u00ade\u00adfit from attend\u00ading such a con\u00adfer\u00adence, the news com\u00ading out of Cali sounds like there was fun had by all attendees.<\/p>\n Real Life News ~<\/span> I\u2019m not going to go on and on about how beau\u00adti\u00adful the weath\u00ader up on top of this moun\u00adtain is.
