Today is the last day of 2009. What a year! Although I should lament about the state of the econ\u00ado\u00admy, or the fact that I\u2019m not get\u00adting any younger, I have to say that I\u2019ll always remem\u00adber 2009 as being a great year for me.<\/p>\n
My first book Wyoming Solace came out two weeks before 2008 end\u00aded. Since then, I\u2019ve writ\u00adten and sold anoth\u00ader six books. I\u2019ve learned a lot, grown a lot, met some great authors, edi\u00adtors, pub\u00adlish\u00aders, cov\u00ader artists, and twit\u00adter friends (you know who you are). I\u2019ve learned more than I ever thought I want\u00aded to know about the inter\u00adnet, blog\u00adging, web\u00adsite upkeep, (I now know what CSS<\/span> stands for, but HTML<\/span> is still a mys\u00adtery), and social net\u00adwork\u00ading, and I\u2019ve learned a frac\u00adtion of what I want to know about writ\u00ading and publishing.<\/p>\n There\u2019s always next decade, right?<\/p>\n I hope that all of you had a great 2009, and will have an even bet\u00adter 2010.<\/p>\n So what\u2019s on tap? I\u2019ve got sev\u00ader\u00adal sto\u00adries in the works, a few for me, a few for Olivia. I\u2019m sure that my recent slump of writ\u00ading angst is over (right?!) and I\u2019ll be kick\u00ading out at least anoth\u00ader six nov\u00adels this year. I also have a trip com\u00ading up in April to the RT<\/span> Con\u00adven\u00adtion in Colum\u00adbus OH<\/span>. I hope I get to meet a pletho\u00adra of romance genius\u00ades, and if I rub up on them, their great\u00adness will soak in by osmosis.<\/p>\n\n
