Welcome back. Today’s Six Sentences (+) continue from last week (I feel like I need to insert some sappy soap-opera music here or something).

“I need to get going too.” Brynn gathered her purse, and tucked a tip under her water glass. “I’ll wait for your email. After I look through it, I’ll give you a call.”
Susan nodded and squeezed out of the booth. “Call me if you need anything tonight after you talk to Jack. I’m free after six, even if you just want to go for a drink.”
Brynn held the front door for her friend. “I appreciate that. I’m actually looking forward to this.”
Susan flushed. “I wish I could be a fly on the wall tonight. On second thought, no I don’t. You know how I feel about confrontation.” She shuddered. “Take care Brynn.”

Good morning everyone! I’ve got six more sentences from my WiP here, and maybe now that school is back in session I can actually get to work on some of it. Continuing from last week:
Brynn waited for the congratulatory giggle, but it never came. She rolled her eyes. Susan’s big heart wouldn’t be able to stand it if someone was hurt, even if he deserved it. “Don’t worry Sue, he won’t be destitute. He’s got a job.”
Susan dropped her focus to her cell phone on the table. “Oh…gee…I need to go. I’m showing a house at four.”
Not sure reading a book six sentences a week is the best way to do it, but at this rate, it’s about as fast as I’m writing the thing! Have a great Sunday everyone, and don’t forget to check out the official site for more SSS authors.

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s a chilly day on top of this mountain. Autumn is in the air, and I’m not very happy about it.
My six sentence offering this week, continuing the story from last week:
He gave up gambling long before I met him. While the crew loaded the truck I read the agreement over. When I’m done with him, he’s going to have to rent a room at the YMCA.”
Brynn laughed at her friend’s shock. Susan’s face paled to a gruesome shade, and her eyes danced over Brynn’s face. “So he gets…nothing?” she squeaked.
“Nothing but the clothes on his back. And the bed where he slept with the slut, since I’m so generous.”
“Oh my God.”

Another Sunday, another six sentences from my untitled WiP. I really can’t wait to get back to work on this. I finished two short stories for Olivia, and then went right into edits for her February release Tessa’s Pride.
Okay, enough blabbering. On with the post:
“When I entered into the agreement to purchase the Bone and Joint Clinic, my lawyer got a little nervous about Jack’s financial responsibility; he’d already claimed bankruptcy once. It was a condition to my partnership.”
“I…I didn’t know. You never said anything…”
Brynn shrugged. “That was almost seven years ago, and I hadn’t thought about it since.”
That’s it for me. I’ve got a full day ahead at the Evil Empire. Enjoy your Sunday! Don’t forget to visit the official website for more SSS participants!

Fine Print was reviewed over at Night Owl Reviews, and Mary gave my contemporary romance the Top Pick seal! Here’s a little of what she had to say:
“Man Derek Martinez is one hot guy worth having even for a little fling. These two were great and man the passion between them is hotter than ever. Alanna definitely has a hit with this one and I can’t wait for more from this talented author.“
You can read the entire review here, and click on the book to see more information about Fine Print, including a book trailer, excerpt, and character biographies.

Happy Sunday! It’s August already? It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day here on the top of this mountain. I’ll have to enjoy the view though, lots to do today. Moving right along. Six more sentences from my romantic suspense without a title. We rejoin Brynn and Susan in the restaurant:
“I’ve got some ideas for an apartment for you already. I’ll email you some virtual tours.”
“Nothing too fancy, and remember, either a sublease or a month to month thing. Once I sell the house, I’ll want to buy something new within the year.”
“What if you don’t get the house?”
Brynn gave her friend a sly smile. “Can you believe I got him to sign a prenup?” Susan’s dropped jaw confirmed that she could not.
Have a great Sunday everyone! Be sure to check out the other SSS Participants over at the official website.
